Samsung Omnia II (GT-i800) headed to the US

The Samsung Omnia II has passed thru the FCC and is definately headed for the US.  The records show that there is support for AT&t’s 3G bands, which is great news as this smartphone packs quite a few features – 3.7in touchscreen, 7.2Mbps HSPA, plus 5MP camera with high res (720 x 480) video recording.  This news is counter to previous thoughts as it was not expected in the US as it didnt support any US bands.  Video after the jump
